Jeremy Huenink has always had a love of drawing. Since he was a little kid, he's always been happiest with a pencil and paper in his hand.
Jeremy can remember back to his days in grade school drawing comic books of characters he used to create. He also loved collecting comic books and marveling at how these stories were drawn and put together.
Reading the Sunday funnies has always been a highlight of his week. Some of his favorites include Peanuts, Garfield, FoxTrot, and BC.
Jeremy has grown up in the Christian home. His faith has always been an important part of his life. He believes that the most important thing in life is God, then his family, and finally himself. Golf fits in there someplace after family. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."
Golfing came into Jeremy's life after high school. He never played before then and never really had a desire to until one day... A friend of his called and asked if he'd like to go and play a round. Jeremy said sure, borrowed a set of clubs from another friend, and the rest is history. He's loved the game ever since. Jeremy sees golf as an eye into life. There is so much to learn from both, and neither will ever be able to be perfect.
The idea of starting Life's Course came to him when he was in college. His church has a monthly newsletter that it sends out to its members. Jeremy thought that there wasn't enough fun stuff in the paper and asked the editor if it would be ok to put together a monthly comic strip. She said sure, and behold, Life's Course was born. To find out more about the comic strip and its characters visit, the "About Comics" page.
Jeremy is married to his lovely wife Nancy. They have 2 children: Justin (born July 2005) and Kaitlyn (born May 2008). His family is very important to Jeremy and he is happiest spending time with them.
Jeremy, Nancy, Justin & Kaitlyn live in Oostburg, WI, a little village located about halfway between Milwaukee and Green Bay. Jeremy works as a graphic designer for a local newspaper.
